errick's
five-step process simplifies the development of your piece
and ensures it is true to your original concept.
1.
A consultant will meet with you to discuss your ideal piece.
This initial consultation takes approximately one hour, within
which time you will detail the form of the piece, wood type,
and finish.
2. After the initial consult, master craftsman, Nick
Herrick, will submit a rendering of the piece as well as cost
and time estimates for the finished product. The rendering
will either be a hand sketch or CAD print-out of the final
piece.
3. Once the quote is accepted, a color sample, including
a section of your chosen wood and stain finish, will be submitted
for review and approval.* A non-refundable, 30% deposit will
also be collected to place your job on the development calendar.
4. Beginning work on the piece, you will be asked to
provide an additional 30% of the total quote. As the piece
takes shape, you will be invited to the designer's Plain City
woodshop to view its progress.
5. Upon completion of the work, another 30% of the
payment must be received before it is shipped to the client.
The final 10% will be collected upon delivery or installation.
*The
first color sample is free. Additional color samples are $15
plus the cost of wood.
