About
History
Herrick's Custom Furniture is owned and operated by Nick and Sherri Herrick. Since being introduced to woodworking in the seventh grade, Nick has always had a desire to create with wood. He took every opportunity in his school years to increase his knowledge taking as many shop classes as his school hours allowed. Two days out of high school he was hired at an architectural millwork shop that specialized in designer woodworking for high profile companies in and around New York City. While working there, he was given the opportunity to participate in a four year apprenticeship with a master woodworker who had over twenty-five years of experience. Nick is proud to be a certified cabinetmaker, and now with fourteen years of professional experience under his belt, he has been able to hone his craft and was privileged to build some special items that can now be found in the new OSU student union.

We have trained craftsman to insure quality. Every board is hand selected and inspected.
Because our craftsmen are trained, we are able to offer our clients versatility. As you will see in our picture gallery, our furniture styles range from traditional to modern, and everything in between.
In order to ensure the highest quality and variety, we work with both solid wood as well as veneer, choosing the best option for each situation.
Flexibility and Personalized Service
We are truly a custom shop. Every job starts with raw lumber, which is planned, joined, built, and finished within our shop. Because everything is built to order, we are able to accommodate special requests. Whether your space is large or small, we will work with you to find the best solution. We take pride in each piece we build whether it is a single table or an entire kitchen.
